Block Earner Bulletin: Yo-Yos were cool in the 90s

12 Nov 20253min
If you’re watching the market closely, you’ll notice that both bears and bulls are winning on different days. When BTC approaches 100k a lot of buys come in, the opposite as we approach 105k. Markets like this can indicate lower trading volumes making it easier for institutional players to affect and manipulate the market. It can also indicate that sentiment is flippant with low conviction on either side. It’s up to you to decide, but this Yo-yo like period can be exhausting and shake out many retail traders, so we like to stay patient and stay informed during times like this.
Frankly, the key forces seem to be whether or not the easing of fiscal policy in the US is enough to fight off the climbing unemployment, inflation and recessionary fears. Michael Burry and Warren Buffet don’t seem to think so, given they are either 100% cash or actively betting against the markets. Crypto wasn’t built for speculation though, here are some interesting things happening:
  • 1.1M BTC (5% of supply) is held in corporate treasuries
  • Both Ethereum and BTC core developers have Quantum-resistant proposals ongoing to future-proof the chains
  • Zecash (a privacy focussed token) outperforms all others in a shocking run up as Travel-rule compliance proliferates around the world.
As always, stay informed and we’re here for you!

Ripple Raises $500 Million at $40 Billion Valuation
Ripple recently raised $500 million at a $40 billion valuation, with backing from Wall Street players betting on the infrastructure underpinning digital assets. The round was led by funds affiliated with Fortress Investment Group and Citadel Securities, alongside Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital, Brevan Howard and Marshall Wace.
Ethereum ‘The Infrastructure’ for Wall Street, Says Former BlackRock Executive
For Joseph Chalom, Ethereum (ETH) isn't just another blockchain. It’s the infrastructure he believes Wall Street will eventually build on. Chalom, co-CEO of Sharplink and former head of digital assets at BlackRock, says “Ethereum has the majority of stablecoins, tokenised assets and high-quality smart contract activity,” in an interview with CoinDesk. “If you're going to digitise finance, you need a chain institutions can trust — and it’s Ethereum.”
What to Know About Trump's Pitch for $2,000 'Tariff Dividend’
President Trump on Sunday pitched the idea of sending $2,000 dividends to most Americans from tariff revenue: "A dividend of at least $2000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone." Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that Trump's suggested tariff payout could simply refer to tax savings from the One Big Beautiful Bill legislation. Government-issued checks were popular for Trump in the early years of the pandemic, driving speculation and helped fuel the rise of the GameStop saga.
