Referral terms & conditions

1 Introduction

  1. These terms and conditions (Terms) are entered into between WEB3 Ventures Pty Ltd (trading as Block Earner) (ACN 655 090 869) (we, us or our) and you (being the original recipient of the offer to which these Terms are referred or attached).

  2. These Terms apply to our offer to provide you with a referral bonus payment if you refer users to join Block Earner, in accordance with the process set out in these Terms, that meet the eligibility criteria below (Offer).This Offer is available for a limited time only and is not applicable in conjunction with any other promotional offer unless expressly indicated.

  3. You accept these Terms by accepting and sharing your unique referral link (Referral Link) with your network.

2 Eligibility Criteria

  1. As part of the Offer, you are eligible to receive $25 (Referral Bonus) when you:

    1. send or share your Referral Link with a person who has not previously registered for our waitlist (each a Referral);
    2. sign up to our platform between 12:01am 1 February 2023 and 11:59pm 31 July 2024; and
    3. make a $250 deposit into your Block Earner account and transfer into one of the available Block Earner DeFi Access options before 11:59pm 31 July 2024 and hold it for 30 days; or
    4. make a deposit of $250 AUD or more, in a single transaction into your Block Earner account and buy $250 AUD worth of one of the available cryptocurrencies in your Block Earner Crypto Buy/Sell account.
  2. You will be eligible to earn a Referral Bonus when your Referral signs up to our platform and also become eligible in accordance with clause 2(c)

  3. Your Referral will also receive a Referral Bonus if they:

    1. sign up to our platform between 12:01am 1 November 2022 and 11:59pm 31 July 2024 using your Referral Link; and
    2. make a $250 deposit into your Block Earner account and transfer into one of the available Block Earner DeFi Access options before 11:59pm 31 July 2024 and hold it for 30 days; or
    3. make a deposit of $250 AUD or more, in a single transaction into your Block Earner account and buy $250 AUD worth of one of the available cryptocurrencies in your Block Earner Crypto Buy/Sell account.
  4. Your Referral will be eligible to earn a Referral Bonus even if you do not become eligible.
  5. We reserve the right to exclude a Referral, where the person being referred has previously registered for our waitlist or has not used your Referral Link when registering.

3 Offer

  1. This Offer commences on 1 February 2022 and is only available to you if the Eligibility Criteria under clause 2 is satisfied.
  2. You can receive the Referral Bonus each time you make a Referral. There is no limit to the number of Referrals you make.
  3. This Offer has a total Referral Bonus limit of $1,000,000 (Limit). Despite anything to the contrary, we reserve the right to withdraw the Offer once the Limit has been reached. If you meet the Eligibility Criteria after the Limit has been reached, you will not receive the Referral Bonus.
  4. You can only receive the Referral Bonus for each Referral once.
  5. For the avoidance of doubt, you will not receive an additional Referral Bonus where your Referral refers a third person.
  6. If you become eligible for a Referral Bonus, the Referral Bonus will be paid to your account on our platform within 7 days of you meeting the Eligibility Criteria.

4 General

  1. For privacy reasons, we will not tell you which Referral met the applicable Eligibility Criteria.
  2. We collect personal information from you in order to make available the Offer and may, for this purpose, collect, use and disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and as required, to regulatory authorities. Please see our Privacy Policy (available at /privacy-policy) for more information about how we collect, store, use and disclose personal information, including details about overseas disclosure, access, correction, how you can make a privacy-related complaint and our complaint-handling process. By providing personal information to us, you agree to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of that information as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.
  3. Failure to use the Referral Link according to these Terms or not in line with the intent of the Offer, including but not limited to, publishing, advertising or selling the Referral Link or any conduct on your part which is designed to undermine the intended operation of the Offer, is prohibited and may constitute fraud.
  4. A Referral will not be accepted if the Referral Link is incomplete, invalid or does not otherwise match our records.
  5. If we become aware, or have reason to suspect, that you are fraudulently misusing the Referral Link and/or have breached these Terms, you will become ineligible to receive any Referral Bonus, and, where we have already provided you with a Referral Bonus, you agree to refund us any amount already paid to you by us.
  6. For the avoidance of doubt, you may not refer yourself to also be the Referral (e.g. by using separate email addresses to create multiple registrations on the waitlist).
  7. We reserve the right to validate the eligibility of any Referral, and may, at our sole discretion, determine any Referral to be ineligible.
  8. This Offer is available for a limited time only and is not available in conjunction with any other promotional offer unless expressly indicated. We reserve the right to extend, withdraw or amend this Offer (including with respect of the amount of the Referral Bonus) at any time at our sole discretion. If this Offer is withdrawn or amended, we will honour the Offer in respect of any Referrals that were made prior to the Offer being withdrawn or amended, provided that the Eligibility Criteria is satisfied. Unredeemed Referral Links cannot be used after this Offer is withdrawn.
  9. Any decision made by us in relation to the Offer is final in all matters.
  10. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall have no liability for any website failure, Referral Link errors, any malfunction of computers, servers or providers, communications and facilities, any tax liability incurred by you in connection with any Referral Bonus and any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) caused in any way by participating in this Offer or in connection with any Referral Link.
  11. A reference in these Terms to ‘$’ or ‘dollars’ refers to the currency of Australia from time to time. A reference to time in these Terms is to local time in New South Wales.
