What is Plume (PLUME)?

Plume (PLUME) is the native token of Plume Network, a Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation. PLUME is used to pay transaction fees, secure the network through staking, and govern the direction of the Plume protocol and its ecosystem.

The History of Plume

Plume Network launched its mainnet in June 2025 after raising more than 30 million US dollars in funding from investors including Apollo Global. In October 2025, Plume became one of the first blockchain-native entities registered by the US Securities and Exchange Commission as a transfer agent. The PLUME token has a total supply of 10 billion.

The Use Case of Plume

The primary use case for PLUME is as the native asset of the Plume Network. It is required to pay for transactions, secure the chain through staking, and participate in governance over the protocol's tokenisation engine, compliance modules, and ecosystem development.

Plume has become one of the largest blockchains by RWA participants, with more than 280,000 RWA wallet holders by early 2026 and over 645 million US dollars in tokenised assets managed on the network. Partners include WisdomTree, which launched 14 tokenised funds on Plume, and Apollo Global, which deployed 50 million US dollars in private credit through the network.
